Paws Across Pittsburgh is a non-profit foster-based animal rescue that works to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home homeless, abused and unwanted dogs and cats. Together with our volunteers and foster parents, PAWS has helped thousands of animals find a new life in their forever homes.

Have you ever considered fostering? Shelters are reaching out with many very pregnant dogs and moms with pups. We are faced with turning them away if we don’t have a foster home.

About Paws Across Pittsburgh
The Habit of Giving
Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pittsburgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats.
We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments.
Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals.
Our board members are Jackie Armour, Yvonne Ross, Wendy Kovacs, Sarah Medina, Vicki Thomas, Erin O'Toole, Jackie Abel-Stavropoulos, and Christy Sabatini.
